write2tim
Please help! I didn't have any trouble yesterday burning certain .wav files Now Roxio won't recognise another .wav file of mine - telling me 'This is not a supported music file.' What could be wrong? tbrewst
From sknis' pictures take a look at Audio Sample Size for your file. Is it something less than 8bit? If so Roxio won't use it.We've seen this problem before with personal recorders and the like.
gi7omy
There could be a problem with the source file itself. If it accepts some .wav files but not others, it is capable of recognising the format. Can your home-brew .wav play in media player?

So what changed? New program, update to an existing program ? Right click on the file on your computer, select properties and then summary. Make sure you are in the advance mode. What do you see there?
gi7omy
'home-brew' would be a .wav you created yourself and not ripped from another source
