Help! Cd Spin Doctor

danzig

Question

I just discovered CD Spin doctor and I really like it, but after completing exactly 2 albums it has simply stopped sending things to iTunes. After saving it says there was an error sending to iTunes please make sure it is functioning properly. I have tried to trash plist files, reinstall ROXIO and have even down graded to iTunes 7 in case that was the issue. PLEASE HELP! Is there a work around I might be able to use?

Mac G5 Dual 1.8

2 gig

OSX 10.4.11

Itunes 7.6.1

Spindoctor 5.0.3

:angry2: I am having the same problem. I was able to send about 5 sets of songs to Itunes when all of a sudden it stopped working for me as well. I get the "CD Spin Doctor experienced an error attempting to send tracks to iTunes. Please make sure iTunes is functioning correctly." error. Sounds like you found a work around but anyone know how to fix this?

I have a similar set up with OSX 10.5.5

The only thing I can suggest is to trash the Spin Doctor plist file in your User>Library>Preferences folder. Maybe that will fix what's causing the issue.

The work around suggested to me was to control or right click on the music files and then save then to the disk. Eventually I was able to continue the program in the way it was intended with other records. Looking back I believe that the files I was working with somehow became corrupted. I hope this helps.

Yeah, I think you are right. I was able to do another set of material and it went through ok. Something got messed up in the one set. Hope that's the end of it. I've had Spin Doctor freeze my whole machine a couple times.

I don't know why it stopped sending to iTunes. You can control click on the selected tracks in Spin Doctor and choose Save to Disc and then add the tracks from the Finder to iTunes.

Thank You, Thank You Thank You :)  The control click worked!
