Unexpected Device Sense Code 27240

I have just completed my first HD project using DVDitPro HD version 6.3.

 

I have been able to save the project as a Blu Ray Image File but when I come to burn the file onto RE disc using my new LG GGW-H20L BluRay Writer I receive the error message "Unexpected Device Sense Code 27240"

 

I have been able to write the Standard Definition version of the project which burned to disc OK but cannot burn to Bu-Ray.

did you create an R or RE image ?

 

The only option available is to "Burn a Disc Image", there are no options to burn for BDR or RE as far as I can see.

 

However, I have been researching on other forums about this problem and using Nero I was able to burn the disc image created in DVDitPro HD without any problems and the disc works fine. From reading one topic, an end user experiencing the same problem as myself says: "after burning the RE disc using Nero, I was able to make the disc work in DVDit ProHD, which was first erased and then re-written by the program". This to me seems to be with a problem that DVDitPro has difficulty in detecting certain Virgin BDRE discs until after they have some content written onto them by another program such as Nero. I am currently using Verbatim Media. The above method of getting the disc to work is a workaround, I will let you know later if it works for me!
