Blur After Burning

In Flash I made a movie that I transcribed into Quicktime. In Quicktime it looks fine. But when I burn it to DVD or even HDVD the pictures and graphics are getting unsharp. From a distance it looks alright on the TV but when you come closer it looks very blurry. Is there a way to prevent that?

What is the resolution of the source video? Are you viewing it at its actual resolution on the TV or is it being upscaled?

 

The only quality setting for video DVD in Toast other than the bit rate setting is to turn on Half-Pel in the custom encoder settings window. That might help your issue.
