Videowave Crashes When Adding Audio

mtrapp0

Question

I can add my video but whn I add in the audio videowave crashes.

I am doing add Content->add background audio

I pick the file from the browser

Tool asks

Insert background audio

on

music track

on sound effect track

I pick music track

Then video wave comes back with a dialoge box:

VideoWave 10 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Short of re-installing is there anything else I can do.

Seems this was working till I did a registry clean.

Does it crash with every audio you try to add or only certain ones?

Convert 1 of those mp3 files, to a .wav file, and see if you can add it, that way.

Are those files from iTunes?

Not from Itunes.

The mps was initally a large wav file 45meg.

I rebuilt my who system, reinstalled windows.... I think the machine was unstabel any how.

But I am wondering how to handle the installation of RMC and not being able to use a registery cleaner.

If you use the cleaner then EMC wont work.

Cleaning the registery is part of computer maintenance.

It is and it isn't - you shouldn't NEED to clean the registry unless you are removing a lot of programs as the Windows Installer is a hopeless uninstaller (always leaves stuff behind)

I use Ashampoo WinOptimizer myself and it doesn't remove things that shouldn't be removed - Norton and McAfee do
