Burning A Movie From A Harddrive To Dvd

I am recording shows from Sat TV to a stand alone USB 2.0 500GB Harddrive. I can watch the movies from the HDD just fine, but I want to take the HDD from my TV and plug the USB pigtail into my PC and burn a movie onto a DVD. Can I do this with Easy Media Creator 9 ?.......Is it easy or are there lots of steps involved?..........Thanks for the help, I'm real new at this

A bought Retail version of Roxio EMC Version 9 or a bought Retail version of Roxio EMC Version C2009?

 

If your "Sat TV shows" are not encrypted with DRM. Then you would need to encode them to DVD Video standard, time and work yes..
