How To Edit Out Commercials?

I have a bunch of .tivo files I would really like to edit and I cant seem to find the right tool to use. I want to delete the commercials. I am using Roxio Easy Media Creator 10.

 

Any help would be so greatly appreciated. I am so tired of running into brick walls with this I could just scream. :-)

Have you looked through the Tips&Tricks forum? There is a post there on zapping commercials
