How many exe files are there in the DVD installation? It could be both SonicFire and Soundsoap are in another big file in the DVD installation disc and need to be installed separately. Check the content of the installation disc.

If the Ultimate is a download purchase, how many files did you download?

I had them installed early on but eventually uninstalled them.

Soundsoap can be found via Start|All Programs|BIAS menu. I forgot about SonicFire.

Never mind. I just found other installation programs for these apps on the second CD, and they worked. Sorry to bother you. I fon't know what got installed from the first disk. Maybe it was an earlier version of SonicFire or something. I know it put a lot of files for this app on my disk.

Thanks for your help.

Now, my second question. Is there a pdf of the manual that I can really download. I clicked on one link and there was nothing there.

Bert

If everything got installed with your C2009 program, you can go to the following for SonicFire:

Open up Windows Explorer--Go to the "C:\Program Files\SmartSound Software\SonicFirePro 4\" folder and right click on it. Look on the right side of the screen for the file named "SonicFirePro4.exe" Right click on that file and then on the drop down menu click on "Send To--"Desk Top" (Create Shortcut)". That will put an Icon on your desktop that will open up the SonicFire program.

Frank and malatekid,

Thanks. I guess I was confused when I saw some Sonicfire files installe from the first CD, and when I clicked on the Sonicfire install program on that disk, it said they were already there. Then I put the second disk in, and it said I had to use the control panel to change settings, so I took it out again. When I looked at the second disk again after reading you guys posts, I used to explorer to look at the disk, and I found other installers for these two programs. Those installers actually installed the two programs and now I have them on my start menu. So everything is ok.

At least until tomorrow, when I post some other questions.

Thanks again.

Unfortunately, the links to the user manuals, which used to work, are now broken. :( Even the one for EMC 10 is broken. If you want, here is the link for the EMC 9 manual. Some of the major apps like Videowave and MyDVD work the same way as in Creator 2009.
