In the summer, I bought an MSI Wind (actually a clone, an Advent 4211). As it doesn't have an optical drive, I bought a Freecome DVD RW Recorder LS, an external DVD recorder with Lightscribe and EMC 9 bundled with it. Unfortunately, the EMC 9 is pretty much unusable because it requires a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. Like many other netbooks, the Advent has an unadjustable resolution of 1024 x 600.
Are there any patches or upgrades that can be applied to the software to make it fully functional on a netbook?
