Need Help Burning Video Ts And Audio Ts

jlarson

Question

I recently purchased Roxio Creator 2009. I have used previous versions. I like to make backups of my home DVD collection. However, when I try to drag the Video TS and Audio TS folders in the Project List, it says "you have selected a DVD-Video as a source. creator classic cannot copy this disc. please use the data and copy tools to copy the disc". When I have the Video TS and Audio TS folders in another folder like the name of the movie, then it lets me add it to the project list. However, I don't want to do that because my son's portable DVD player only plays DVD's that have only the Video TS and Audio TS folers on it. How do I burn a DVD with only the Video TS and Audio TS folders on it? Thanks

Creator Classic cannot be used to create a video DVD from the Video_TS folder. Use Video Copy & Convert.

I have no idea what you are referring to with this statement:

"When I have the Video TS and Audio TS folders in another folder like the name of the movie, then it lets me add it to the project list. However, I don't want to do that because my son's portable DVD player only plays DVD's that have only the Video TS and Audio TS folers on it."

It is a "safeguard" that Creator Classic has. It will not allow you to Add a VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS folder to the root of the Project.

Probably a good idea since Creator Classic will not create a compliant DVD Movie disc!

Some of what jlarson wants to do is outlined in Tips & Tricks - Here

That one concerns adding Data files to a Movie disc but the Burn info is what they need to read.
