Burn On 2 Drives?

After thinking about this overnight, I have to ask why?

If you output your projects to an ISO file, the project just does the encoding which takes the time. Once the ISO is complete, it only takes a couple of minutes to copy (burn) the ISO file to a disc. You can copy (burn) that ISO to as many discs as you want and there will be no re-encoding.

If you are asking if the program can encode (render) 2 projects at a time -No.

Wow, the computer that could do that would probably require being chained to a reinforced concrete base!

And if it ever got loose…

Yes you can burn two or more at a time at the speed of the slowest burner. I don't know if that is true for BDR; I don't know anyone rich enough to own two or more !

I'll second Steve's reply. I actually put together a box to do that, only I used Creator 2009, since I had it available. I had a pair of PATA DVD-R drives (LG brand, as I recall), and to get the speed up, I added in a separate PCI-IDE controller card so that the HD, and each DVD-R drive could be on their own IDE channel. My need was to duplicate 200 DVD's of a couple of our church services. With that setup, I could get out a disc about every 1 1/2 to 2 minutes (a pair of discs every 3 or 4 minutes). My disc printer could just about keep up with that through-put.

Thanks for your answer.

It is great that you can burn 1 project to 2 dvdr's.

But is it also possible to burn 2 different projects onto 2 dvdr's? This was my question.

Hello all,

I'd like to know if it is possible to burn 2 different DVDR or BDR on two different burners?

I'm using Windows Vista and Roxio 10. I'd be interested in purchasing Roxio 2009 if this function is available.

Thanks

There are a lot of "Two's" in there !

You have the ability to burn one project/iso/data files to two different discs in EMC 10 now. If that is not what you want to do, please explain further. What are you trying to burn?
