Program Doesn't Quit

I just installed Creator 2009 and when I burn a cd or erase a cdrw, the program will say 100% but drive will not stop nor can I get the program to stop via Task Manager. I have to shut down computer via holding power button 5 seconds and removing disc while rebooting. Getting frustrated - please help!

Did you ever get an answer? I am having a similar problem with erasing, although I was able to actually burn a DVD.

Erasing RW discs - you need to remember they only have a limited number of erase/write cycles and will give problems after a lot of use

Thanks for responding. I tried two different discs. Each had only been used once.

FYI, I currently am awaiting a response from Walt to a longer message I sent yesterday ("Creator hangs and locks up system") tx.
