Have you tried extracting the audio from the clip using Roxio Media Manager? Though I haven't made cds from extracted audio, I would think that you could make cds depending on the format of your extracted audio.

I have tried, but no luck. Maybe there is something wrong with the original file.

If these are m4a files that came from iTunes then Roxio won't use them.We'd be back to the Roxio won't use Proprietary or Copy Protected files.

Where did you get these mpeg4 files?

Have you tried one of the many free mpeg4-to-mp3 converters available on the net?

Could you spell out 'no luck'??? For that matter, what was it that you tried?

 

If they play and have sound, then there is sound that can be extracted. No sound, nothing to extract.

Did you buy EMC10 separately or was this pre-bundled w/ your pc?

I bought EMC 10 seperately. I tried to listen to the individual files but could not get any program I had to play them. I understand that there may be an issue as they are m4a files. Anyway, I did find a free converter program which will split a large file of MP3 to smaller files and that seems to be working for me.

I am confused by your posts

 

In your first post you says you want to convert mpeg4 to mp3. Now you are talking about m4a files as well as splitting large mp3 files

Exactly what are your trying to do ?

If its an m4a then you can't use the extract audio procedure I was talking about earlier, but if you found a solution, good for you.

That is why it is important to give the proper information, in the first post. Something that Clybella didn't do.
