Add Audio

Question

Using Roxio Creator 9 XE, I've added audio to my VideoWave project on the music track. The audio was captured from my music files. They show up in the music row section of my project. Yet, when I go to play the project I am not getting any sound. Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated!

Some of the OEM (XE) versions of the software do not have all the features of the full program. That audio file is probably an mp3 file. If you can capture it again as a wav file, you should have a better chance of getting it to play. (This is a simpliied version of why and how.)

Is there a way to look up what is 'missing' from the OEM versions.

I am running Roxio Creator 9 XE as pre loaded on my PC running XP pro ( I also have the disc for this OEM version ).

I'm having problems with retrieving info from the internet - it doesn't although the relevant box is checked - and label printing seems a bit wrong.

Anyway - if either problem is due to the OEM limitations then I'll need to re-evaluate what to use.

Cheers.

Not that I know of.

Do not try to get information from the Roxio web site; information there is for the full versions. Go to the computer manufacturer's web site and get you information and limitations from there.

Since the version you have is two versions behind, there is no comparison available on the Roxio web site. Look at Creator 2009 (different from Easy Media Creator 9) to see what is available in the full product.

In my opinion, the label creating applications in all the versions are "a bit wrong."

By the way, I've seen Creator 2009 as low as $50 with an additional rebate.

No, we don't work for Roxio so we do not have a listing for all of the different OEM versions out there! (there have been some that shipped with a CD Burner that have all DVD burning removed!)

You did not say 'what' you want from the internet? I am guessing it is Music info related???

If you are doing really serious music, I don't think a $100 Do it All Suite is really going to do everything you need…

Keep in mind V9 is 3 versions old, Creator 2009 being the current.

Doggone thread hijacker, I was going on the information provided by the first poster. I did not notice that someone had hijacked the thread.

To the new poster, next time start your own thread in order to eliminate the possibility of this type of confusion.
