Playback Issue

easyway

Question

Using MyDVD I have burned a DVD with 3 slideshows. I created a linked button to give the viewer the option to Play All or the viewer can opt to play each slideshow individually. The problem is the initial slide of each show (with the exception of the 1st show) does not display. Playback does not begin until the 2nd slide whether "playing all" or playing each slideshow indvidually. I am using Creator 2009, I had the same problem with Easy Creator 10. What am I doing wrong or what can I do to fix the problem????

MyDVD: Tools – Options – Render, Software.

Give it a try and let us know if it helps.

OK, the problem still exists when using the "play all" option, in fact the second show does not play the first slide and the third show does not play the first two slides. However each individual slideshow plays correctly now, so some progress is being made.

Thanks for the help so far.....

Hmmm... There was a similar issue when using chapter marks, but I thought that problem had been fixed. Wonder if this issue is related. Are you using slides show wizard or creating the slide show manually in Videowave? We'll see if we can duplicate the problem.

OK, got it working now I think. Original slideshows were created and saved as .dmss. I edited them with VideoWave and saved them as .dmsm then burned the DVD with myDVD. Haven't watched the complete show closely yet but the initial problem appears to be fixed. I do think that everything should have worked before though (with slideshows saved as .dmss).

Thanks for your help.... ;)

In future productions, forget the Assistant. Use VideoWave (Edit Video-Advanced) for creating your productions.
