Videowave Crashes

Pesimist

Question

I didn't see a forum for Easy Media Creator Suite 9 - so don't burn me!

I just can't get VideoWave to open without encountering a problem and shutting down.

1) Used the Windows cleanup utility

2) Deleted all files relating to Roxio & Sonic

3) Cleaned out cookies and browsing history

4) Done a clean install

I keep getting a pop-up letting me know my video card driver (Mobility M1 - ATI) "may" not be up to date - but it is. The latest driver is 6.13.10.5796 dated 6/16/2002

Anyone have a solution? Or should I dump Roxio and go with another program?

It's definitely a graphics problem - that graphics almost qualifies as an antique and I sincerely doubt if it can match the requirements for video work in any app.

If you have a laptop, there's nothing at all that can be done for video work. If it's a desktop, net a bew graphics card

Well - it worked a couple of years ago, and yes it's in a laptop. The graphics card in my desktop isn't much newer: Radeon 9200.

I was having similar problems with creator 9 on the desk top so I took a stab at reloading creator on the laptop. Hope I don't have to get a bew graphics card for it.
