TerryLewis
Thanx - can you import/export a subtitle file
sknis
I'm pretty sure that you can add text using a simple text editor. You may be able to do a screen capture of the text (image) and add it as an overlay to the internal track of that image. If that is not what you want, please explain. What do you mean by subtitle file? EMC does not do subtitles per se.

I want to author in HD so am looking at Ulead DVDFactory 6 & Corel VideoStudio Pro X (both on evauation) DVDFacroty lets you use either file name or teh EXIf data subtitle and VideoStudio allows you to add text but also import a subtitle file. I'm not totally satisfied with what they offer so looking at MyDVD - would love to get hold of an evaluation copy so I can decide on which product to buy My requirement is to author HD DVDs and use the date and time a picture was taken as a subtitle in slideshows Hope I've explained myself and thanks again for responding

You can always make a screen shot of the EXIF information and add it as an overlay to the image. Unfortunately, I looked at the EXIF information using several different options and got anywhere from 4 to 49 entries; none in the order I would want them. There is no evaluation copy but Roxio does have a 30 day warranty on any purchase from their store. You would want to buy the full Creator 2009. The slide show editing application would be Video Wave. That would be where you would add the EXIF information.
