Separating Audio Tracks

Dudess

Question

I like using instrumental music as background audio in videowave shows. I have a number of music mp3 files with nice background audio (but not so nice words). Is it possible to capture just the instrumental track using Sound Editor in Creator 2009 (or any other EMC version)?

As was already said, "not really". The problem is that as we get our music, the instrumental and vocal are no longer separate "tracks", it's all been mixed down to two channels, so it's not a case of just not capturing some particular track, it winds up being a filtering algorithm.

Good luck!

What you're trying to do is not easy.

Most software that tries just basically removes the frequencies that carry voice.Problem is when this happens you tend to also lose instruments as well.

As far as I know Sound Editor won't do this.
