Printing On A4 Cd Labels With Core And Spine

JennieQ

Question

I used to be able to print on A4 CD labels with core and spine in the previous versions of Roxio Easy DVD and CD Creator 6 using Windows XP. Now I've upgraded to Windows Vista and Roxio Creator 2009 and the option is no longer available under media type. I cannot get my printout to align with my media no matter what I do and it used to be perfect in the older version.

Does anybody perhaps have a solution for me?

I'm using an HP Photosmart C7100 All-in-One printer.

Thanks for the help

What I have done (and I also use the Fellowes paper) is to print out on a standard plain sheet and then line that up with the 'hole' in a used CD sheet - that way I can calculate the offset and adjust. It is a bit fiddly, but it can be aligned - once the test print lines up, then save that setting.

I have the same problem and despite numerous attempts to align the print to the paper (Fellowes 2-up core and spine A4), I keep failing. Is there any way Roxio would consider adding this paper format in a future update and if so, how do I/we let them know? I have bought a lot of these labels and am a little frustrated that I cannot use them now. The other option is, would you (or anyone?) be able to post your alignment settings, as they may work? I use a Canon ip5200 if it's of any use.

I'd appreciate any guidance.

I'm using the Fellowes/Neato A4 labels with core and spine - the only options I have in my Creator 2009 are for (on Commercial paper) APLI Ref xxxx (A4) but they don't match up with the Neato labels. In the previous editions of Roxio Easy DVD and CD creator the option for 'A4 Labels with core and spine" was there. The Easy Creator 6 is not compatible with Vista otherwise I would've loaded it instead, but I have now spent the money on the Creator 2009, I would like it to do the job as well as the older version did.
