More .avi To Dvd In Toast 9

Lee

Question

I pulled 3 short videos on to Toast 9; two were avi files. When Toast imported the third, a .wmv file, I noticed that it seemed to "open" Flip For Mac several times. I set Toast to "DVD-Video" on the left column. After several hours, Toast 9 did whatever Toast 9 does and burned the three videos to a DVD disc. When I played the disc in my Mac (Leopard OS) the videos played fine, but only the 3rd video had sound. When I play the other two videos, using VLC, both sound and video are excellent. I'm curious to know why the audio wasn't recorded and what I might do to avoid that in the future. I appreciate any help. . . .

It appears you need to download and install the Perian codec from www.perian.org. Since the .wmv went okay you must have one of the purchased versions of Flip4Mac because that also is needed by Toast for those videos.

Thanks, Tsantee. I DID purchase Flip4Mac. I have Perian, too, but I'm not sure that I installed it. I'll try that. I appreciate your help.
