Slideshow Errors

scicon

Question

I've been working with Creator 2009 on my new Dell Inspiron 1525, with Vista Home Premium Operating System. I haven't had any problems editing video and adding video to myDVD, but using the slideshow is another story. I get one of 3 error messages when adding pictures to the slideshow. Videowave 11 has stopped working, RoxioModule Wizard has stopped working, or Runtime Error C++ has ocurred.

I just want to add photos to a slideshow and set it to music as part of a DVD I'm putting together.

Anyone have any ideas? I've been escalated to tier 2 by the Roxio support and have been waiting for nearly 4 weeks for the tier 2 people to help me with this....please help.

What format are the images (jpeg are usual)? How large? Remember that you will be making a video at 740 by 480 so high resolution is not better. I assume you scanned them at high resolution. You might try a batch change in resolution to lower quality.

I assume that you are making the slide shows in Video Wave and not MyDVD or one of the slide show assistants.
