Software Won't Load

I have just purchased the full version of roxio creator 2009 and it will not load on to my machine. I've tried various methods to load it and and it stops loading and always comes up with the following message.

 

ROXIO CREATOR 2009 WIZARD WAS INTERRUPTED

YOUR SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED. TO INSTALL THIS PROGRAM AT A LATER TIME,

PLEASE RUN THE INSTALLIATION AGAIN.

 

CLICK THE FINISH BUTTO TO EXIT THE WIZARD.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-EP45-Ds3P P45/1600FSV/1394/RAID.

My CPU is an Intel core 2 duo E8500 3.16G 6MB FSB1333.

My operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service pack 2.

I have 2.00 GB of RAM.

I have broadband cable internet.

I access the internet with Mozilla/Firefox version 3.0.4

For my anti-virus program I use CA Security Centre

I use Windows Media Player Version 9.00.00.3354

 

I also have the full version of roxio easy media creator 7.5 which will no longer work.

Ever since I've had it, I have had all kinds of trouble with it locking up and not following commands correctly.

Turn off your AntiVirus and any other running app and follow the clean install steps outlined here:
