No drive 'recognized', where Windows can see it but Roxio can't

 

I saw a post that told me to down load a Sonics upgrade, I did and it didn't help my problem.

 

Getting pretty fed up with this program, had it for a couple of years, still can't use it, can't find a place to complain other than "Support".. That sure didn't help..

 

Any suggustions from anyone as to a fix on the subject title of this problem?

 

Any suggustions on a "GOOD" CD & DVD copy program?

It has taken you a while to say anything since you joined in June, but now you're talking to us how about some details so we can try to help you.

 

-What operating system are you using?

-What software are you running ? [name and version number ?]

-what part of the software suite are you using?

-what are you wanting to do? [make, convert, copy ??]

-what is your drive ? [manufacturer and model number. Run Windows Device Manager and click on the + next to the DVD/CD drive icon to see your drive identifiers]

[1] What is the problem you're having? You initially indicated that the program wouldn't recognize your drive, but now you seem to be saying you can't get the software package to load. Which is it?

[3] Have you followed the KnowledgeBase article in the link posted by Ogdens in post #2, above?
