bubbacc
Hi ... I'm a newbie here so please bear with me ... I want to convert old VHS tapes to DVD ... I have a new Vista 64 bit machine ... but having trouble finding a video capture device claiming it will work in a Vista 64 bit environment ... any suggestions (other than buying another computer)? gi7omy
The Pinnacle devices (that were bundled with EMC9 and 10) will not work in 64 bit OS. I don't know if the latest one will or not as I haven't got one. 64 bit drivers were always a problem (even in XP 64 - I had to wait months before I could even get a printer driver from Epson)

Pinnacle has drivers for 64 bit Vista for their DVC 100 device. You should check with Pinnacle (Avid) before you buy.
