bratboy
Just wondering if there is some way of checking that the plug-in for HD was actually installed when I installed creator 2009 ultimate. I never noticed any sort of extra file to download and not sure where I would look to confirm it is there Thx

grandpabruce
wouldn't the lounge be a better place for this? Jim, the Download Manager is the first download for all who purchase the software through Roxio's website. It is needed to download the software. The manager comes through Digital River. bratboy
Yes 'O' wise one from the North....8.01mb in fact.. cd Hmm my reciept only listed 2 download links: 1 was "RoxioCreator2009Ultimate_DownloadManager.exe" and the other was the rebate form: emc2009u_20_34144_Ultimate_20.pdf The invoice only showed 3 serials (Creator 2009 Ultimate --Sonicfire--Soundsoap) and the dl manager only wanted to download 3 files: FN56I010R14_Creator2009Ultimate_11.0.exe The main app install FP19AZS0SQA_EMC11Content_7Lang.exe This file contained stuff like Photosuite 11, VideoU11, audioCore plus some common files FQ01B010000_Creator2009Ultimate3rdPartySW.zip This one contained 2 app installs: Soundsoap SE installer SonicFIrePro4.55.exe No mention was made of needing to dl a fourt file that is just the plugin. Mind you Ultimate is supposed to come with the plug-in without needing to make a seperate purchase. Wondering if I got the plug in or not now. Thats why I wondered if there was some way to check that the plug-in is there

I just looked at my files, and I have the same files that you downloaded, so I am guessing that the plug-in installs when you install the program. I will do some more looking, but I think that Jim is right. It is there.

grandpabruce
Plug-in hide n seek LOL. A new fun game one can play all alone LOL! Open up MyDVD (Create DVDs-Advanced). When it opens, there should be a nag screen asking your to select what typ of project you want to create. I believe that if you see Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray, no menus, then the plug-in is installed. I don't know if this would show in the standard Creator 2009 version.

How many plugins have you installed that required a serial #? cd

I couldn't find it, when I looked for it last night. Yep their listed. (Awards grandpabruce with a Qupiee Doll) I am glad that they are listed. cdanteek
I show them and never installed the 8.01mb RoxioHigh-DefBlu-rayDisc Plug-In.exe. cd
grandpabruce
I show them and never installed the 8.01mb RoxioHigh-DefBlu-rayDisc Plug-In.exe. cd That's why I think it is automatically installed with the Ultimate version. Maybe someone, with the standard version, who hasn't installed the plugin, will read this thread and let us know what they see on that screen.
