Importing Audio Directly To Narration

bigcrushjake

Question

i have several audio interviews that i would like to import into videowave. it will only allow me to import them as music or sound fx. i really need to have them in the narration slot because i have music and fx to import also. i have tried importing it into fx/music, then copy and paste it into narration but it keeps cutting part of it off. is there another way to bring it in directly to narration?

also is there any audio editing available other than eq? i would like to tool around with reverb or some chorus/delay.

thanks

ok i figured it out. my interview is about 30 minutes total,, the video i was working on is like 6 minutes.. i didnt realize it would only import the same amount of audio as there is video.. in other words, i was only getting 6 minutes of audio because theres only 6 minutes of video to attach it to.

so what i did was i inserted a color panel for the length of 999999 seconds so i could import the entire interview. now i can cut up the interview to match the video and then get rid of the color panel.

To videowave it does not matter to which track you add the "narration" audio- its all the same. The tracks could just as well have been labelled audio 1, audio 2, etc.

How are you adding the audio? What format is the audio?
