Applescript: Setting The Recorder And Window Position

I'm beginning to tinker with AppleScript to automate my Toast workflow. There are a couple basic things I want to do, but I can't seem to find or get working with Toast.

 

1. Can I set the position of the Toast application window? Toast doesn't seem to support the position property when I try to set it. I get an error.

 

2. Can I set the Recorder used by Toast? For example, in my Mac Pro there are two SuperDrives. How do I tell Toast which recorder to use?

I don't have experience with applescript so I can't help you with the first. However, Toast defaults to the last drive used when launching. Clicking the drive name at the bottom of the Toast window automatically searches for the next available drive. Maybe that will help.

Thanks, but I have seven (7) burners connected to my Mac Pro, and I want to be able to select a different burner depending on the use case. I do this so frequently that I need to write a script to streamline my workflow.
