I would like to make CD recordings of edited sound tracks from several DVD movies. I think I should be able to do this with spin doctor. If this is correct, how do I do it, and if not, what program should I use, and again how do I do it?

Here's another method: You can extract individual DVD chapters or titles via the Media Browser to the Toast Convert window. Once they are extracted click the red button and choose one of the audio-only formats. If you are wanting to edit or trim the audio then choose AIFF. That saves the audio file.

To extract the video chapters or titles from the DVD choose DVD with the top button of the Media Browser. The button below "DVD" accesses the titles or chapter level of the disc. Drag what you want to the convert window.
