Reinstall Problem - Cineplayer Dvd

Recommended Posts

I have all requested numbers from purchase - transaction details, order number, paypal receipt, etc. Backup disc I ordered says "no serial key required", but all attempts to reinstall give me the "not found" response. Bought on line but can't seem to find any help in getting this reinstall done. Any secret phone numbers to call? All I want to do is watch movies while on the airplane and I'll be darned if I am going repurchase product from this company. It is for Windows XP.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS Thanks for moving it to the right place Grampabruce. Being new here, when I read the following under where you moved it: "For all chat not related to CD/DVD burning software. No Roxio discussion here! Chat about anything in life that interests you or just stop by to say hi. Posts that do not belong here will be removed. " I was a little confused on where to put it. Thanks for taking the time to put it in the right place.

Your post is a little confusing.

You say you'll "be darned if I am going repurchase product from this company." If your original purchase was, indeed, from Roxio, they have a 30 day $$$ back guarantee. If from somewhere else, contact that individual / company and get arefund.

"All I want to do is watch movies while on the airplane."

If by this you mean copy a commercial dvd or convert a commercial dvd to ipod or similar-device format, then Roxio can't help

I also have a problem having purchased the program online.

Roxio have sent an email with an unlock code, but to install the program it needs an installation key.

A request for information has produced a thing called a ticket, but no action

This company needs to sharpen up their act. I will be very cautious in future when dealing with Roxio products

That "unlock code" is the installation key is it not?

BTW, don't expect any quick respopnse from Roxio, you're lucky if you get one this year
