sknis
What do I do when my brand new dvdit pro 6 says my cd key is invalid? 200 bux and I can't use it.....very frustrating. How do I get a new cd key? First make sure the time and date on your computer is correct. EMC requires this so pperhaps DVDIt does also. cd suggested the "O" and the "0" ; the same for "l" and "1". Try again, Roxio sometimes has problems with their registration computers. Also make sure that you allow your computer to do the registration - check to make sure the outgoing connection of the program is not blocked by your security programs. Where did you get it? Box, Download from Roxio (Digital River) or somewhere else? Perhaps it is a bad download that is screwed up at the registration page. How large is the file you downloaded? See if you can download it again but be careful, there is usually a limit. Make sure your anti-virus is off when you go to install.

I've installed all kinds of things in the past using cd keys. For whatever reason this one doesn't work. The number is on the back of the DVD case and is on during the first part of the install. It just says it's invalid.
