As a response to a post about cataloging audio files on a disc without actually copying the audio file to a hard drive. I generated this response. Since I had the links and the images, I didn't want to let them get lost.
"They really hid this one as compared to earlier versions. I believe this will do what you want but I have not tried it with a commercial disc. When the sales people do a write up, they never really tell you what you want to know -- this works with a CD you made but I'm not sure of a commercial CD. Here is a tutorial. If you are making your disc, I think that you have to run gallery on the disc as you make it.
Edit: Wow, I just ran it on the most obscure commercial disc that I could find. The program found the disc information and cataloged the disc.
