I just purchased and installed Roxio Creator 2009, yesterday, and after the installation my CD/DVD drive no longer works, and in Device Manager is shows up as not installed. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling, to no avail. This is a Vista machine, an HP L2000 notebook. It was working fine right before the install, and IE 7 crashes when I try to use it with LogMeIn.Com, and other sites - they, too , were working just before the install.
I have uninstalled the program, it all worked, and then reinstalled - I get the same result, no CD/DVD drive and IE 7 is crashing, and closes.
This is kind of strange, and yes. I did apply the service pack 1 to it. Any help will be very much appreciated.
