pocketrebel
Looked a little, but honestly not that much of a search, for a similar issue. Didn't find anything. Basically, here's the situation. I burned a video from roxio creator '09 to a dvd. Sony DVD... Sony camera. It froze and then skipped a second every minute. I don't know why. When I was testing another program for editing a different video, I burned a 15 minute video to a dvd, and it was fine. This was filmed with the same camera and burned to the same brand of dvd-r. It must be a roxio issue. Any ideas? Do you need more information? I tried burning the same video twice, and this one was just over five minutes long. Same problem. Thanks! pocketrebel
Lots of information needed How did you capture the video? From what type of camera? What program did you use to burn the DVD? What make of DVD media are you using? What are your system specs? Did you try software or hardware rendering? I filmed the video with a Sony camera. I think it's a DCR-SR85. I recorded directly to the camera, no memory card. I imported the video and edited it with Roxio Creator 2009. I burned the video to Sony DVD-R. System specs... it's an HP media desktop computer... probably 4 gigs of ram... quick processor. The computer is probably less than a year old. I'm not in front of it at the moment. I don't know what software and hardware rendering is. I thought I could just get it from the camera, edit it, and burn it. The software claimed so. As I said, I did do this process with another video in another program, and I had no problems at all... and that video was three times as long.
