Although C2009 worked fine after initial install, started to have problems with DVD burning after a couple of months (specifically, rejecting blank DVDs). With help from Roxio support and many iterations of "clean uninstall/install", manual registry changes, start menu limitations, px engine updates, etc, like those described in this forum, finally got it running. In the middle of this I did update Itunes to 8.0.2.20 and burn a DVD with Itunes just to make sure that there were no driver or hardware problems. However, the next time I started Itunes (after getting C2009 running), I got a message that it's CD/DVD registry settings were missing and that I should reinstall Itunes. I am reluctant to do this, however, since I don't want to start the cycle all over again. It's probably relevant that one of the procedures from Roxio instructed me to delete Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from SYSTEM Key :{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. Lowerfilters seems to have returned, but not Upperfilters.

Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated.
