Can Not Burn Cd's Now To Play On Vcr Since Changing Over From Simple Star Photoshow

MissPJH

Question

When I had PhotoShow through Simple Star I had no problem burning CD's to play on the DVD/VCR and watch it on TV. Now that I have bought the Roxio PhotoShow I can't burn a CD to play on the DVD/VCR player. In the old PhotoShow you had two choices, either a CD to play on the computer or a CD to play on a DVD/VCR to watch on tv. Anyone else having this problem? I only find one choice to burn a CD and it sure doesn't work on my DVD/VCR. I had planned on giving some gifts to my children of PhotoShows I made, but I can't now.

I have had the exact same problem, I am not impressed with Roxio at all, I'm trying to get my money back, I have had this problem for months now, very frustrating!!!!

I can't burn DVD's any more either. I am so frustrated!!! How could Roxio destroy such a good program as PhotoShow 5!! I'm going to try to get my money back. I finally bought My Memories Suite by Polaroid and that works pretty well. But I still wish I could burn from SimpleStar PhotoShow 5.

Where on you VCR did you put the CD in?.

I am experiencing the same problem. It let me make one photoshow that I can play on my dvd and when I tried to make another, I keep receiving an error message saying that my activation code is already in use. It is very frustrating and customer service sucks!! If you find out an answer to this, please post so that I can find out also. Good luck...

I am experiencing the same problem, get the message that my DVD is not blank please insert a blank DVD. I wrote for help to the company and they sent back a solution, so now photoshow 5 tells me that I don't have a DVD Player installed at all - guess I should not have asked for help - I have had the program since version 2 and have never experienced the problems that I have now since Roxio took over, how can a company ruin such a great program? It may be all financial as they want you to put your shows on their web site, and buy DVDs from them, so if they ruin you ability to burn your own you have to purchase from them.
