George Saridakis
When I click stop or done, audio record hangs and the process needs to be killed from windows task manager. Fortunately, the wav file is kept intact so that I can restart the audio editing process. George
George Saridakis
Application or descriptive names are most helpful - are you using "Capture Audio from Sound Card (Easy Audio Capture)" or "Digitize LP and tape (LP and Tape Assistant)? I find that Easy Audio Capture works better for me. I'm in the middle of capturing 15-20 audio cassettes. When I click stop, a pop up window opens and asks what to do next. One options is Sound Editor. BTW, I can't burn a CD directly from Sound Editor (Hangs) but that may be because I have 2 Roxio versions on my computer. Hi Steve, I should have said "record audio" from the "sound editor" - this combo did not used to hang in EMC 10. Interestingly enough, I can burn directly from the sound editor.
