Backed up my whole computer using sonic digitalmedia plus. I need to reinstall my computer soon. Luckily, I decided to try to load one of my data discs back onto my computer to see if it worked. My dvd drive wont recognize it, but the sonic program will, but for some reason, there isnt a way to get the data back to my computer, without saving a disc "image" to the harddrive. I saved the image on my desktop, but I cant do anything with it. I tried poweriso, but it wont extract the files. I tried the mediahub option also, but that just takes me back to the sonic page. I can backup data to a dvd, I can save the dvd 'image' to my harddrive so I can make copies of it, but why the hell cant I open the files from the dvd or image, to 'rip' them back to my computer? I REALLY hope Im just missing something.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Nevermind, I figured it out. I wasnt correctly 'finalizing' my discs. For some reason It wasn't letting me earlier. Now my dvd drive recognizes it.
