I recently orderd some verbatim 8.5gb DL disks. The price of them wasnt too bad but still a little much for the amount of burning i do. Is there any other type of dvd DL that is less expensive with the same quality or close to the quality of verbatim?

How important is what you are going to put on a disc vs the few cents difference in price? Not to mention how important is your time if you run into a bad batch of discs that you can't burn to? Or if you have to replace then for your customers?

If its only a few cents difference I dont really have a choice then. I looked around on ebay seems like a good place to get them. But does sony or any of the big names make disks that work great for a great price?

Scroll down that first link. Sony outsources some or all of their discs and there is no way of telling if you get a good batch or ....
