bryanmiller24
Hi Just a quick question on converting to iPod Video. Why does the High Quality setting produce lower quality videos. To use an example of 1 dvd setting the target size to 1Gb On Standard Expected size is 1.4Gb with bit rate of 1.6Mb/s On High Expected size is 764Mb with bit rate of 808b/s Am I missing something? freshburn
Standard quality uses MPEG-4 and the iPod supports a bit rate of up to 2.5Mbps. High quality is H.264 and the iPod only supports up to 768kbps.
bryanmiller24
Ah. That explains the size and bit rates. Still trying to get my head round all the different options to get the best quality. Cheers Dude.
