Big_Dave
I picked up a couple of 8 GB SDHC Class 6 media for $44 total for both media sticks. There is also a rebate of $8 per stick for a max of two sticks so the final coast is $28. Kingston is the brand name and is well known for manufacturing quality memory. Big_Dave
I have tried one in my PS3 and the other in my Panasonic DMP-BD35K. They work great. No problems encountered with use in my laptop. Class 2 is 2 mbs minimum Class 4 is 4 mbs minimum Class 6 is 6 mbs minimum Price verses performance can be an issue. You may be over paying if your device can not transfer data as fast as the SD media is rated. Still, if you can buy at the right price then go for the best. Over 4 GB SDHC media will be formated as FAT32.
lynn98109
<snip> Over 4 mb SDHC media will be formated as FAT32. In other words, you can't use it for larger than a 4GB file? Errr ... I just noticed ... you DO mean GB, not MB ...? Lynn
Big_Dave
I am just a bit too fast on the keyboard these days. It's GB as it was in my first post. I'll correct it to stop confusion.
