bettencourtam
I'm running Toast 9.0.4 on a Intel-based Macbook. My problem is that when trying to burn a video_ts folder I keep getting a sense key error, sense code 0x24. I've tried this with a few different video_ts folders and a few different media brands. Can anyone help me out?
bettencourtam
This also just came to me. Were it a problem where the video_ts folder was missing some of it's content, would it get past the "Compressing & extracting" stage? Because it does. It doesn't give me that error until it gets to the burning stage.
tsantee
Another possibility is that Toast is having trouble activating the DVD drive after the drive has gone to sleep. Try choosing Save as Disc Image and then burn the disc image file using the Image File setting in the Copy window.
tsantee
The only thing that I know causes problems when burning from a VIDEO_TS folder is when the folder is missing some of its original content. For example, a ripped DVD needs to be done as a full disc extraction. Something you might try instead is the following: Choose DVD video as the format in the Video window. Place the VIDEO_TS folder on the desktop and choose DVD with the top button of the Toast Media Browser. Drag what appears in the browser window to extract the MPEG video files. When that is complete set up a menu the way ou want and burn your DVD.
bettencourtam
Uhm, not to be rude but I don't really want to do that. I want the original DVD to be preserved. I've done this quite a few times before this happened, so I'm just trying to determine what went wrong now that's causing this problem, whether it's a hardware issue with my macbook or something regarding Toast.
