Possible bottleneck Paul is the graphics here

Graphics Memory 128 MB

Graphics Description NVIDIA. GeForce 6150SE

That's really on the low side for rendering.

Using software render may speed things up a bit tho

thanks people,i'll take your advice.

Is this file a divx or xvid file? These are highly compressed and in order to be made dvd compliant, can take hours to do but much also depends on your system and you did not post any specs for your system for me to make any other observation.

Not a speed demon but not a slow system either and I would think 2 to 2.5 hours should do it as a guess. I usually burn to an ISO file and not direct to disc so maybe if you're burning direct to dvd that's slowing things down a bit. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to suggest besides making sure you're video drivers and directx are up to date and keeping your hard drive defragged.
