Creating A Slideshow

tinab1081

Question

Hello,

I have Roxio Creator Premier version 9.1.573. I have no problem creating a slideshow with photos and music, but I would like to create one with short video clips as well. I can't figure this out! I tired using the cinemagic option to do it, but then it didn't use all my photos I chose. I want to make these DVD's for my family as Christmas presents, so this is kind of urgent. I hope someone can't point me in the right direction!

Thanks!

In Video Wave, add the video just as you would an image. Switch to timeline view to edit the video. For best results, put a transition before and after the video although that is not necessary.

Like Steve said, VideoWave works best for this, but if you are using CineMagic in a hurry and as Bruce suggested you may not have VW with your version, when in CineMagic, make sure you allow enough time in Set the Production Duration in Step 2 (duration of your still images plus the durations of your video clips) . If your duration time is less than all of your clips + still images added up, it may leave some out to fit the time.

If you do have VideoWave and the above doesn't work to include all your material, then use CineMagic to compile the still images and then in Step 3, choose Edit in VideoWave. Once in VideoWave follow Steve's directions to add your video clips where you want.
