sknis
Merry Christmas, my problem is that this program disables my DVD burner and uninstalls it whenever I want to burn to disc a video with the program "My DVD" and with the .iso already converted. Sometimes, it burns the video to the disc but it can't be read, and other times when burning, it has a lot of errors. Other times it does burn the video perfectly but for that to be possible, I have to lie to the program by changing the name of the video I want to burn. Only then will it work fine. I also have other ways to get it to work. Just in case, here's some info about tmy computer: Intel® Pentium®D CPU3.20Ghz 3.44Ghz. 2.00GB of RAM Microsoft Windows XP Professional (C:) Capacity - 279.45 GB (D:) Capacity - 111.79 GB (E:) Capacity - 111.79 GB ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro If you guys could help me make this program work fine on my pc, I will be very thankful. PS Sorry about Bla, Bla, Bla; it's the same as etc. No, bla, bla bla is not the same as etc. There is a lot of negative connotation with Bla. It ranks right up there with "Ya, whatever" Anyway Update the drivers for the video card here (link). Follow the instructions which involve removing the old drivers before installing the new ones. One you have installed the drivers, open the ATI control panel by right clicking on a blank area on your desktop. Set the performance to Best and away from Best Appearance. Double check to make sure that both Anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing are set to application (program) controlled. Update DirectX 9c from Microsoft. Go into Video Wave and from the top menu, select tools options and then run the rendering test. You will see some black boxes and numbers, they don't really mean much. After the test, is the dot near hardware or software? If it is near hardware, then try encoding again. If you still have problems, move the dot to software and try again. Look for a post by cdanteek; look in his signature for help when Roxio does not recognize your burner. Does it not recognize it at all? If so, then it would not be able to burn anyhting from the program yet you seem to indicate that it does. Please explain. Also explain further about being able to burn if you chance the name of the file? Thanks for editing your signature to out your computer specs. It now shows up in all past and future posts. We are not affiliated with Roxio, in any way. We are users, who, over the years have helped folks with the software, when we can understand what the hell they are posting about. You need to start by telling us what you are trying to do, what program, in the suite you are using, and what problems you are having. Next, list your computer specs, similar to how I have mine listed, in my signature.
