Unable To Complete Installation

OS = Vista Home Premium - system requirements for disk space and ram = met/exceeded

 

I purchased Creator 2009 today 12/20/08 online, downloaded and have been trying to install for the last three hours!! Very frustrating!

 

Installation progresses past confirming location, then runs for about 30 seconds and then displays the message:

"Roxio Creator 2009 setup was interrupted. Your system has not been notified. To run this program again at a later time, please run the installation again."

 

Tried again, same message. Then went through the "Clean install for Vista", rebooted when prompted, etc. and ran install again, same message.

 

I have tried searching through knowledge base and other support files, but none seem to have a related problem.

 

I will appreciate any recommendations. Thanx.

I have the exact problem as listed above. I read the article, and I dont have that file as well. So - I need to start another thread to repeat excatly what is typed? Okay

I am having the same problem.. I tried the KB advice , but I do not have the folder which it says to change/delete.

 

so what next????
