Can Not Render Movie

I have been using a Creator 2009 with no problem, but the program hung when I tried to change all the transitions to the same type. When I reloaded the MyDVD and tried to edit the movie I encountered the error that the file could not be rendered. I am running XP with 1G ram and using software render. I reinstalled 2009, tryed system restore and update DirectX and my video card driver. I then installed 2009 on a new PC running Vista with 3GB ram and the file has the same problem when trying to render. Any ideas?

Multiple issues. !) I can not add multiple transitions to a production. 2) I can not add video effects. 3) Most menus grayed out.

some computer details, desktop/laptop, CPU, RAM, graphics?

Try switching the render to software if set to hardware. Look under Tools and Options.

I tried the hardware, but I incountered the same error. That's when I update the Intel driver and still the same result.

If it isn't a laptop you may have to consider getting a new graphics card and using that instead of the onboard Intel

PC#1 - XP, Intel Pentium 4, 768 MB Ram, Intel 82915G/GV/910GL

PC#2 - Visata Home Premium, Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2200, 3 GB RAM, Intell Graphics Media Accelerator 3100

 

Both PC's experience the same errors. Disk copy just crashed on pc#2.

In both cases your graphics are not really up to the job (that's why you don't get the transitions - the machines are using software render)
