Creator 2009 Not Loading?

CKMBDavis

Question

Hello all:

I have installed Creator 2009, and it shows to have installed correctly. However, when I try to run it, nothing loads. After uninstalling and performing a "clean install" per Roxio's instructions, it still doesn't load, and now says that the various ".exe" files have been changed or removed. Any suggestions as to what I may do? Simply reinstalling it doesn't seem to help anything.

Thank you all in advance,

CKMBDavis

What exe files?

Are these from the download version?

If you did the clean install, the only exe files should be the two downloaded ones (if that's where you got the program), otherwise there shouldn't be any there at all

Some of the exe files that it mentions include:

MediaManager11.exe, MyDVD11.exe,PhotoSuite11.exe,SoundEdit11.exe,VideoConvert11.exe, and VideoWave11.exe.

There is only one other program, Label Creator, and nothing at all happens when I try to start that one.

They weren't downloaded, I installed everything from a disc. It was brought legally and all, and I have the CD key, etc. Would having a downloaded version make a difference?

Thanks.

Not really - I just wanted to be sure what exe files you were talking about

Did you follow the clean install steps to the letter? There are hidden folders in

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data

and

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

which also have to be removed

You need to go to My Computer and in Tools, Folder Options, set that to show hidden files and folders
