Exported 2 Tivo Shows, Now Crashes

I used Tivo Transfer to "Toast It" in Toast 8. In Toast 8, I exported two episodes of Psych with no problem. Then I followed the same procedure: Tivo Transfer> Toast It>Export to iPod/Apple TV

for a soap opera on SoapNet and each time Toast crashes- no error message, nothing.

 

I tried to download the update but each time, Roxio says I haven't updated my password in a while, sends me to the forgot password page, and each time that page tells me to try again later.

If there are any dropped frames in the data stream that can cause Toast to crash. If the problem continues to be just the one show then I think you may be out of luck. You could try having Toast convert to DV as that has very little compression and it may work. If it does then use that source to convert for AppleTV.
