I have a similar issue on my machine. I can simulate everything just fine, but I can't get the program to burn to disc or even to an ISO file to use another program to burn to disc.

I moved the sonicMPGvout.dll to the shared files and cleared up the issue around that, but the program will not burn to disc. It hangs up at the encoding video, then ejects the disc and gives me the error message.

I'm trying to burn to a Dual Layer DVD using standard DVD settings (not HD).

Have you tried to "burn to volume"?

Indeed I have. As soon as the 'transcoding video' bar comes up, I get the red X box with the same error message. I have no idea why this is happening and I can't get any real support for resolving the problem. The code must mean something.

Anyone have this problem and get it solved?

to clarify:

HP Pavillion PC running Windows XP sp2 2.8ghz processor

4 MB ram

250GB HD

Trying to burn on DVD+R DL discs

I had the error-massage after deinstalling some stuff from the computer, I had to uninstall DVDitHD and install it again. afterwards it was working fine!

It seems, that some other programms uninstalling shared libraries, and then this ERROR-massage will come up.
