PLease list your system specs especially video card. Have you updated the video drivers? Are you running the latest version of Directx 9c?

Have you tried changing the rendering setting in Tool/Options to software or hardware?

Did you install the "Contents" disc or download?

My Guggi, first thank you for your time to help...I did the updating you suggested, but problems remaind the same. Was able to get ahold of Ryan in Live chat and he had me copy the disk to my desktop, turn off antivirus and firewall, reinstall software from desktop. Problems for the most part went away. Just one thing that I'm not able to do, although a small thing... Can't seem to change the duration time (videowave) for all of the pictures at once, without also changing the transition to one single transition. Would like to use 'Pot luck" and then change the duration, but when I choose "pot luck" and then try to change duration, I get the transition that I had selected.

Anyway, I'm down to small stuff....

That's a bug that Roxio has deemed not important enough to fix; sorry.

I just bought Creator 2009. In the Vidio Wave software I can't seem to use the

text effects nor can I change all of the transition times in one setting as I could

in the older software....any ideas?? Thanks, Jack

Not much information

What problem are you having with text effects?

Unfortunately when you change the transition times to one setting, all the transitions are set to same transition. It works the same way in EMC 10. I don't know what it did in earlier versions since I no longer have them installed.

Sorry about the lack of info....In both cases I click on the proper area ie "text effect"

and I get a screen that says "There are no items to show in this view" The "apply to

all" is greyed out and not an option and in the case of the transition time, it is the same

problem in that "apply to all" is greyed out and also not an option

also in the Render setting,,,it is set to Hardware....Thanks,
